The Liechtenstein Financial Market Authority announced that the transition period under Article 143(3) of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation has ended as of July 1, 2026. As a result, registrations under the Token and Trusted Technology Service Provider Act have expired from July 2, 2026 for activities that require authorization under MiCAR. The change applies under the transitional provisions in the Act of Dec. 5, 2024 amending the TVTG. The FMA said it is updating the corresponding entries in its register on an ongoing basis, while an overview of crypto-asset service providers authorized under MiCAR is available in the European Securities and Markets Authority register.
