The Central Bank of the UAE published its monetary and banking developments report for June 2026, showing continued monthly growth in credit, deposits and broad money. Gross bank credit rose by AED 24.7 billion, or 0.9%, to AED 2,757.8 billion, while bank deposits increased by 0.3% to AED 3,472.8 billion. Gross banking assets stood at AED 5,593.8 billion at month-end. Foreign credit increased by 3.5% to AED 582.4 billion and accounted for most of the overall credit expansion, while domestic credit rose by 0.2% to AED 2,175.4 billion. Resident deposits grew by 1.2% to AED 3,181.2 billion, supported by private-sector, government and government-related entity deposits. M2 increased by 0.8% to AED 2,876.6 billion, M3 rose to AED 3,426.3 billion and the monetary base stood at AED 783.5 billion.
