The Angola Capital Markets Commission participated in Rádio Nacional de Angola’s Azimute programme to discuss “the stock market as an alternative instrument to finance the Angolan economy” and to explain to the public how the stock exchange and the broader capital market operate. The Commission was represented by Mário Kadi from its Department of Studies, Strategy, Development and Communication. The invitation formed part of the broadcaster’s initiative to promote technical, informative dialogue on how capital markets can support the real economy. The intervention also highlighted progress in Angola’s capital markets, promoted financial literacy in line with the Commission’s Strategic Plan, and underlined the capital market’s role as an alternative channel for financing the economy, including through supporting investor confidence and a fair and efficient market.
