The New Brunswick Financial and Consumer Services Commission has warned investors not to deal with Bramridge Trust, Vega Gainlux and ZeonGrow because the named entities are not registered to trade in or advise on securities in New Brunswick. The commission said investors who engage with unregistered firms have no assurance of investor protections, and the alert applies only to the specific entities and related websites identified in the notice. The notice lists multiple alternate names and web domains associated with each firm and notes that they claim links to locations including Toronto, Ottawa, Sydney, Zurich, Geneva and Rome. It also points to existing investor alerts issued by Quebec's Autorité des marchés financiers for Bramridge Trust and by Sweden's Finansinspektionen for Vega Gainlux. Investors were directed to use the National Registration Search to verify registration status and to review the commission's guidance on avoiding fraud involving crypto asset trading platforms.
