The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic held a floral offering ceremony at the Altar de la Patria as part of the national “Month of the Homeland” observances leading up to Independence Day on 27 February. Governor Héctor Valdez Albizu paid tribute to national founders Juan Pablo Duarte, Francisco del Rosario Sánchez and Ramón Matías Mella, highlighting their sacrifices in establishing Dominican nationhood and the patriotic ideals represented by them and the Trinitarians. The ceremony was attended by Vice Governor Clarissa de la Rocha de Torres, General Manager Ervin Novas Bello, Deputy General Manager Frank Montaño and other senior officials.
