The Central Bank of Montenegro reported that the National Committee for the Development of Financial Education, chaired by Governor Irena Radović, backed the continuation of the Robotics for the Youngest project and reviewed work on a central web platform for financial education. The meeting centered on expanding financial literacy tools through an early-years education project and a single online hub for financial education resources. The committee assessed the results of Robotics for the Youngest, which is jointly implemented by the Central Bank of Montenegro, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, and the Innovation Fund of Montenegro, as highly successful. It highlighted the project’s use of robotics, creative learning and financial literacy for early primary school children, and its potential to build basic financial knowledge and skills while strengthening digital and logical competencies through practical work, play and teamwork. Members supported making the project sustainable and accessible to more pupils and schools across Montenegro. They also discussed preparations for a central web platform that would provide educational content, practical guides, tools and other resources for citizens, the education system and other target groups, with the aim of improving access to reliable information and coordination among participating institutions.
