The Angola Capital Markets Commission participated in the 48th Annual Meeting of the Committee of Insurance, Securities and Non-Bank Financial Authorities (CISNA) in Maun, Botswana, organised by the Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA). The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation and coordination among financial regulators in the SADC region, including efforts to harmonise regulatory standards and reinforce prudential supervision and financial stability. The CMC delegation was led by Board Chairman Elmer Serrão and included Executive Director Herlânder Diogo, a member of CISNA’s Governance Council, and senior specialist Denise Pitta Grós, who serves on CISNA’s Capital Markets Committee. CISNA members also focused on sharing supervisory experience and good practices across authorities.
