The Central Bank of the Solomon Islands launched WG-CONNECT, an Alliance for Financial Inclusion alumni program that enables former working group members worldwide to remain involved in the network after completing active service. The program is designed to retain policy expertise and institutional knowledge developed through financial inclusion policymaking and peer learning. Former members will be able to contribute through knowledge-sharing, mentoring and collaboration opportunities, while receiving formal recognition for their work on inclusive finance. The initiative was launched during the Alliance for Financial Inclusion Working Group Convergence in Port Moresby as part of the 2026 Global Policy Forum program.
