The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa) announced the appointment of Martina Verić as a new member of its Board, replacing Tomislav Ridzak, who was relieved of his duties at his personal request. Verić previously served as Head of Hanfa’s Funds and Investment Firms Supervision Division. Her work at Hanfa has included regulatory and legislative initiatives focused on pension and investment funds, investment services and crypto-markets, and she participates in several European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) committees. Ridzak became a Board member in 2018 and, during his term, contributed to the development and strengthening of Hanfa’s regulatory role.
