The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has obtained International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications ISO 45001 for its Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 14001 for its Environment Management System, after meeting the relevant international requirements. The certifications cover SAMA’s workplace health and safety arrangements for employees and visitors and its environmental management framework, and are positioned as evidence of alignment with domestic and international standards and best practices in safety, health and environmental management. SAMA also indicated it will continue efforts to strengthen environmental responsibility and sustainability and to further develop performance, regulatory refinement and compliance with applicable requirements and standards.
