The European Financial Reporting Advisory Group has confirmed a renewed composition for the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Technical Expert Group after the EFRAG Sustainability Reporting Board approved a proposal from the Administrative Board. Effective from 1 May 2026, the group combines five new appointments with several reappointments, with the changes intended to preserve balanced expertise across stakeholder groups, sectors and geographies. New appointees are Sonia Artuso as a user representative from Italy, Mathieu Filippo for insurance from the Netherlands, John E. Grova for banking from Norway, Arnoud Kuijpers as a preparer from the Netherlands and Linea Wanninger as a preparer from Sweden. Reappointments cover Vice-Chair Sigurt Vitols of Latvia and ordinary members Robert Adamczyk of Poland, Belén Varela of Spain and Christoph Töpfer of Germany. National standard setter liaison seats are held by Kati Beiersdorf for ASCG Germany, Eric Duvaud for ANC France, PierMario Barzaghi for OIC Italy and José M. Moneva for ICAC Spain. EFRAG also thanked Sandra Atlern, Jean-François Coppenolle, Carlota de Paula Coelho, Julia Kölzer, Signe Lysgaard, Elena Philopova and Vanya Rusinova for contributions including work on ESRS simplification, VSME design and implementation support activities.
