The Central Bank of Slovenia has published its programme for Global Money Week, running from 17 to 23 March under the theme “Think before you follow, wise money tomorrow”, with a focus on financial literacy and safe money management through school outreach and public events at the Bank of Slovenia Museum. During the week, teachers can arrange workshops delivered at their schools, alongside dedicated education days and the option of morning museum visits. The museum will also open on 20 March from 13:00 to 18:00, offering guided tours at 13:00 and 17:00 and a team game, “Atlantova skrivnost”; participation is free, but the game requires advance registration by 19 March and will run only if enough participants sign up. A separate outdoor digital prize game in Ljubljana, “Hunt for lost money”, will be available throughout the week near the museum, taking players between locations linked to the Slovenian tolar and requiring a mobile phone and around 30 minutes to complete. The bank will also mark the week through social media, including publication of the winners’ work from its school-year art competition and an online safety quiz.
