The company has also obtained a payment institution licence authorising it to perform operations with electronic money tokens (EMT). Nuvei Liquidity, UAB has operated in Lithuania since 2004 and is part of the Nuvei Group, a Canadian financial technology services provider operating in more than 20 jurisdictions. The firm plans to serve both business and retail customers, including enabling businesses to accept payments in crypto-assets and offering solutions for managing settlements and payments, with options for moving funds within the blockchain.
