The Central Bank of Paraguay's Superintendence of Securities has opened a public consultation on draft regulations to implement the new regulatory framework for the capital markets sector following the promulgation of Law No. 7572/2025 on the Securities and Products Market. The package is intended to organize and update the rules applying to the market, align them with international standards, and strengthen investor protection, transparency and competitiveness. The consultation is open to all market participants and other interested parties. The Central Bank of Paraguay and the Superintendence of Securities linked the exercise to an orderly, technical and timely implementation of the new law, with comments accepted until Dec. 31, 2025.
