The National Bank of Moldova has published its audited individual financial statements and the consolidated financial statements of its group for the year ended Dec. 31, 2025. The group comprises the central bank and its subsidiary, S.A. Single Central Securities Depository. The independent auditor concluded that the individual and consolidated statements present a true and fair view of the bank’s and the group’s financial position, performance and cash flows in accordance with IFRS. The bank noted that this report relates to its financial position and is not directly linked to its core objective of ensuring and maintaining price stability. The published statements include the individual and consolidated balance sheets as of Dec. 31, 2025, along with statements of comprehensive income, cash flows, capital and reserves, and the related notes including material accounting policies and other explanatory information. Other information required under Law No. 287/2017 on accounting and financial reporting is included in the 2025 annual report. The independent auditor found that annual report information is consistent with the individual and consolidated financial statements and that the annual report was prepared in line with Articles 23 and 30 of that law.
