Moldova's National Commission for Financial Markets held a working session to examine comments and proposals from market participants on a draft regulation for managing and resolving customer complaints, aimed at unifying complaints-handling procedures across the financial sector. The discussion focused on analysing submissions received during the consultation process, clarifying technical aspects and shaping a consolidated position intended to balance providers’ operational efficiency with the protection of consumers’ rights. Participants included representatives from the Association of Banks of Moldova, the Union of Insurers, the European Business Association, the American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova, the Association of Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers, the Single Central Securities Depository, the National Bureau of Motor Insurers, voluntary pension fund administrators, insurance companies and entities from the banking, insurance and non-bank lending sectors.
