The China Securities Regulatory Commission's Party committee held a commendation meeting to honor outstanding Communist Party members, party affairs workers and advanced grassroots Party organizations across the commission system. At the same meeting, Chairman Wu Qing delivered a Party lecture focused on establishing and practicing a correct view of official performance, and framed implementation of Xi Jinping's Party-building directives and the financial system's Party-building agenda as a key political task for the CSRC system. He tied that work directly to embedding Party leadership throughout capital market reform, development and stability, including risk prevention, stronger supervision and high-quality development. The meeting also conveyed the spirit of the financial system's Party-building work conference and presented certificates to the award recipients. Wu said the CSRC system should apply higher standards and stricter requirements in education on the correct view of official performance, deepen study of Xi's related statements, uphold a finance-for-the-people approach and keep a high-quality development focus. He also called for using both positive and negative case studies to prevent misaligned performance incentives, deepening full and rigorous Party self-governance across the CSRC system, and ensuring Party organizations and cadres use the recognized examples as models in carrying out capital market supervisory and risk-control work.
