The Thailand Securities and Exchange Commission published an update on its enforcement response to inaccurate substantial shareholding disclosures, saying it coordinated with the Central Investigation Bureau's Economic Crime Suppression Division to interview Miss Supaporn Pimphong, the person identified in the Form 246-2 system as having submitted the reports. The interview relates to seven Reports on Acquisition or Disposition of Securities covering six securities that were entered into the system on 30 June 2026 and 2 July 2026 and were later removed after the regulator found inaccuracies. The SEC said it examined the filings and verified the information with the relevant listed companies before taking the reports out of the Form 246-2 reporting system. It added that it is continuing to work with the Economic Crime Suppression Division to accelerate the law enforcement process. The interview took place on 10 July 2026 and, according to the SEC and police, the individual cooperated fully. The matter remains under law enforcement procedures, and the SEC said it cannot disclose further details at this stage. It said it will continue the case under the applicable process and will inform the public of further developments.
