The Brazilian Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP) released its November 2025 monthly bulletin of key insurance sector indicators, reporting BRL 376.17 billion in revenues for the SUSEP-supervised sector from January to November 2025, down 4.67% in nominal terms from BRL 394.59 billion over the same period of 2024. Claims, surrenders, benefits and prize draws totalled BRL 243.01 billion over the eleven-month period, a nominal increase of 9.68% year on year. Revenues from property and casualty insurance and personal insurance, excluding VGBL, reached BRL 202.28 billion, up 7.28% nominally; within this, auto insurance grew 6.39% nominally and 1.22% in real terms, while life insurance grew 12.35% nominally and 6.87% in real terms. SUSEP also pointed to its insurance market intelligence dashboard as a more dynamic way to access the data.
