Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) announced that Mirza Adityaswara has resigned as Deputy Chair of the OJK Board of Commissioners, with the resignation formally submitted and now set to be processed under the applicable legal framework. The process will follow the mechanisms in Law No. 21/2011 on OJK, as reinforced by Law No. 4/2023 on the Development and Strengthening of the Financial Sector (P2SK). OJK said the resignation will not affect its duties, functions and powers in regulating and supervising the financial services sector and maintaining national financial stability, and that the Deputy Chair’s responsibilities will be carried out on an interim basis in line with prevailing laws and governance arrangements to ensure continuity of policy, supervision and services.
