The National Bank of Serbia reported that Governor Jorgovanka Tabaković received a Global Finance award in Bangkok recognizing her A- rating in the magazine’s Central Banker Report Cards 2026. The presentation took place during the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group, following the announcement of the highest-rated governors on Sept. 8. In her acceptance remarks, Tabaković linked the rating to inflation within the target range, relative stability of the dinar against the euro, record foreign exchange reserves and banking sector resilience. The report cards assess governors from nearly 100 countries, territories and jurisdictions on inflation control, achievement of economic growth targets, currency stability, interest rate management and political independence, with ratings ranging from A+ to F.
