The Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) has launched the second ASEAN Life Insurance Leadership Program (ALIP), a five day regional development initiative for insurance regulators, life insurance executives and industry associations. The 2026 programme is designed to help the regional life insurance sector respond to aging society challenges under the theme The Longevity Frontier Navigating the Future of Wellness, and it is framed as part of the OIC’s push to align regulatory development, innovation and cross border cooperation under Thailand’s Fifth Insurance Development Plan for 2026 to 2030. Organised with the Life Insurance Fund and the Thai Life Assurance Association, ALIP 2026 runs from 25 to 29 May and brings together participants from Thailand, ASEAN member states, the Republic of Korea and Hong Kong. The curriculum is structured around four modules covering the global strategic outlook for life insurance, emerging risk and resilience, technology and customer transformation, and leadership and human capital strategy. Delivery includes keynotes, panel discussions, workshops and site visits, with topics including artificial intelligence, data security, adaptation to aging populations and long term industry sustainability.
