The Jordan Securities Commission signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Cybersecurity Center to formalise cooperation on cybersecurity matters and support a safer investment environment by strengthening protection against cyber threats. The MoU provides for joint workshops and courses on detecting and addressing cyber vulnerabilities, technical training for the Commission’s employees and IT staff, and enhanced coordination and information exchange to support effective communication between the two bodies. The Commission linked the cooperation to its wider digital transformation agenda and to the security of financial technology and artificial intelligence applications used in the financial sector.
