The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan has launched a new fintech and innovation website and dedicated social media pages to centralise information on developments in the country’s digital finance ecosystem and strengthen communication with partners. The portal brings together market updates, the central bank’s activities as sector regulator, planned initiatives and information on digital solutions, with dedicated coverage of the special regulatory regime, the Open Banking concept, virtual assets and distributed KYC. New LinkedIn and Instagram accounts branded “FINTECH by Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan” and “Fintech_by_cbar” will share domestic and international fintech news and interactive content aimed at improving awareness, with the bank expecting the platforms to support innovation-oriented collaboration across the ecosystem.
