The Hong Kong Monetary Authority published an alert that The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited (HKMC) has received public inquiries about a fraudulent website that largely replicates HKMC’s official website. HKMC said the site at https://www.noblewincapitallimited[.]com is not affiliated with HKMC or its subsidiaries (HKMC Group), or with any HKMC Group business including the AMIGOS By HKMC loyalty programme. It identified www.hkmc.com.hk as HKMC’s genuine website address and urged the public to be alert to suspicious calls, websites and other communications, protect personal information, verify any purported HKMC Group contact via HKMC’s general line, and report suspected fraud to the Police.
