The update sets out how calls are handled, when issues are escalated for further review, and how appeals are recorded. Reference and advisory questions are answered during the call, while matters requiring additional analysis may be redirected into a written request for detailed assessment. All appeals are to be registered and accounted for in line with legal requirements, and the hotline operates Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:00 with a break from 13:00 to 13:45.
