The ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority has opened a feedback process on draft principles for climate transition planning developed by the United Arab Emirates Sustainable Finance Working Group and is inviting stakeholders to comment on the draft document. The draft principles cover governance, risk management, metrics, data and customer engagement, reporting, and implementation. The UAE Sustainable Finance Working Group is chaired by the ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority and includes the Central Bank of the UAE, the Securities and Commodities Authority, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, and the Dubai Financial Services Authority, and has previously issued high-level sustainable finance documents in 2020, 2023 and 2024. Comments are requested by 16 July 2025, with consultation materials and the submission mechanism available online.
