The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) has launched a consultation on the confidentiality treatment of specified superannuation licensee profile data collected under Reporting Standard SRS 604.0 RSE Licensee Profile. The proposed determination would allow existing annual superannuation publications to retain their current format, without changing the scope of data published. The consultation forms part of Superannuation Data Transformation Phase 2 Depth. The relevant data already appears in APRA’s annual fund-level superannuation statistics and annual superannuation bulletin for 2025 and earlier years. Feedback is sought on whether any specified data should be treated as confidential, including whether disclosure could harm commercial interests.
