The National Bank of Denmark published statistics showing that pension wealth managed by Danish pension companies rose by a record DKK 349 billion in the second quarter of 2026, reaching DKK 4,883 billion at quarter-end. The increase was driven primarily by a 7.9% investment return following a negative first quarter, with investments in foreign technology companies providing the largest contribution. Pension contributions net of payouts also supported the rise, but to a much smaller extent.
