The Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo announced that a high-level delegation led by Governor Ahmet Ismaili is participating in the International Monetary Fund and World Bank 2025 Spring Meetings in Washington, D.C., with discussions focused on recent financial and economic developments and the outlook. Across meetings running from 21 to 26 April, the Governor is expected to present key developments and priorities in the financial sector, results from the implementation of programmes and professional technical assistance, and the central bank’s needs for further technical support. The delegation will also hold bilateral engagements with the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, the European Central Bank, the International Finance Corporation, and other partner central banks and financial institutions, covering more than 20 bilateral and multilateral meetings and activities. Separately, following an invitation from the World Bank, the Governor will participate on 28 to 29 April in an executive forum with governors on international reserves management under the World Bank’s RAMP programme, which the central bank joined at the end of 2023.
