The Hong Kong Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) announced the re-appointment of Mrs Ayesha Macpherson Lau, MPFA Chairman, as Chairman and a non-executive director of eMPF Platform Company Limited, alongside the re-appointment of nine incumbent non-executive directors for a two-year term. The re-appointed non-executive directors are the Honourable Chan Hoi-yan, Mr Chan Kam-lam, Dr Humphrey Leung Kwong-wai, Mr James Li Tsz-shu, Mr Webster Ng Kam-wah, Professor Jack Poon Sik-ching, the Honourable Bill Tang Ka-piu, Mr Dieter Yih Lai-tak, and Dr Daniel Yip Chung-yin. The eMPF Platform Company was established on 5 March 2021 as a wholly-owned MPFA subsidiary to develop and operate the eMPF Platform, which commenced operation in June 2024 to standardize, simplify and automate MPF scheme administration with the aim of improving operational efficiency and reducing administration costs.

The eMPF Platform Company, a wholly-owned MPFA subsidiary, was established to standardize and automate MPF scheme administration, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing costs.
