The State Bank of Vietnam’s Region 6 branch held a training conference for People’s Credit Funds (QTDNDs) operating in Hai Phong city and Quang Ninh province, focusing on cash vault safety and information system security to prevent operational risks. The programme brought together board and senior management, controllers, chief accountants and treasurers from 99 QTDNDs. Training covered core cash vault controls including vault equipment requirements, responsibilities of key holders, cash inventory checks, vault entry and exit procedures, and the storage and use of vault and safe keys. On information system security, participants were briefed on key requirements for QTDNDs under State Bank of Vietnam Circular 09/2020/TT-NHNN, including user governance, access rights management, data backup arrangements and identifying information security risks. Region 6 also asked QTDNDs to review internal processes and apply the guidance in practice.
