The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic suspended the licences of three currency exchange bureaus for breaches of Kyrgyz legislation and its own regulations, applying the measure to Expo Grand Plus and Bereke Lux in Bishkek from 16 to 30 May 2026 and to NKA Tri Semerki in Kant, Chuy Region, from 16 to 20 May 2026, and also imposed fines of KGS 55,000 each on three exchange bureaus in Bishkek.
