France's Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) has signed the framework agreement for the Crisis Management Group (CMG) of US central counterparty ICE Clear Credit LLC (ICC), setting the basis for cooperation among authorities involved in the clearinghouse’s resolution planning. The CMG was established by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), in connection with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. It is intended to involve relevant supervisory and resolution authorities in validating, and where applicable implementing, ICC’s resolution plan, with the framework agreement governing information-sharing and cooperation subject to confidentiality requirements.

France’s Autorité des marchés financiers has signed the framework agreement for the Crisis Management Group of US central counterparty ICE Clear Credit LLC, confirming its role in the clearinghouse’s resolution planning. The Group, set up by the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Reserve Board, will validate and, where applicable, implement ICE Clear Credit LLC’s resolution plan under an information‑sharing and cooperation framework subject to confidentiality.
