Moldova's National Commission for Financial Markets (CNPF) published its 2024 activity report, summarising the authority’s main results and setting out priority workstreams focused on aligning national legislation with the European Union acquis and developing a strategic framework for the capital market to attract investors and strengthen its role in the economy. The report notes that during 2024 CNPF completed secondary regulations for voluntary pension funds and crowdfunding platforms, streamlined authorisation and supervisory processes for market participants, strengthened the consumer-protection framework for financial services, and expanded financial-education initiatives for issuers, investors and the wider public.
