The Angola Capital Markets Commission participated in Rádio Nacional de Angola’s “Altamente” programme on “How to Invest in Shares in Angola”, using the broadcast to explain the practical steps and key concepts for retail investors and to reinforce investor protection messaging. The session formed part of the Capital Markets Development Programme and focused on helping the public engage with equity investment mechanisms in a more informed and responsible way. Discussion topics included the characteristics and advantages of shares, associated risks, how to open a custody account through a financial intermediary, investor rights, good savings and financial planning practices, and measures to prevent fraud.
