The Chile Financial Market Commission (CMF) published the results of its latest call for collaborative research and selected seven projects for joint studies, from nine proposals received during the May 28 to July 1, 2025 submission window. The approved studies cover credit information regimes and financial inclusion, gender discrimination in credit markets, the structure and resilience of Chile’s interbank network under monetary policy shocks, links between bank credit, trade finance and international trade, development of an integrated stress-testing methodology for Chilean banking, the impact of a conditional mortgage subsidy tied to timely payments, and the effects of the national registry of alimony payment debtors. Work on the projects must follow the CMF’s conditions for external research set out in Annex 1 of its policy on non-regular publications and institutional reports, including participation by at least one CMF internal researcher. Research agreements with external parties will not include payments to researchers or related costs, and the CMF invited interested parties to submit proposals in future calls.
