The Financial Markets Standards Board (FMSB) announced the appointment of Peter Warne as a non-executive director, making him the organisation’s first Asia-Pacific-based board director. Warne will be based in Sydney. His background includes chairing Macquarie Group until 2022, board roles including ASX Limited and TCorp, an executive career at Bankers Trust Australia Limited where he headed the Global Financial Markets Group, and a current non-executive directorship at UniSuper. He is due to join the FMSB Limited Board on 1 August 2025.
