The National Bank of the Republic of Tajikistan published an update on an Oct. 2 visit by its management and staff to the Rogun Hydropower Plant construction site. The delegation reviewed progress on the dam and other core facilities and received briefings on completed work and the project’s main technical features. Chair Firdavs Tolibzoda highlighted the plant’s expected role in strengthening Tajikistan’s energy capacity and supporting energy independence. The project is also intended to provide a foundation for industrial development, expanded production, economic growth and improved living standards.
