The Jordan Securities Commission hosted a working visit by British Ambassador to Oman Philip Hall and London Stock Exchange Group’s Head of Core Markets for the Middle East and Africa, Abiy Ajayi, to discuss ways to enhance investment, cooperation, and capital markets coordination between the two countries. The meeting, led by Chairman Imad Abu Haltam and attended by members of the Board of Commissioners, covered opportunities to boost British and Jordanian investment flows across both markets, alongside key challenges and issues of common interest and potential solutions to strengthen cooperation between securities authorities, markets, and exchanges. The visitors were briefed on recent legislative, regulatory, and technological developments in the authority and the market, and the visit concluded with the presentation of a commemorative shield.
