The Reserve Bank of India has issued an updated master circular on the board of directors for primary (urban) co-operative banks. The circular consolidates and updates RBI instructions and guidelines on the topic issued to date. It supersedes the previous master circular on the subject dated April 1, 2024 and is addressed to the managing director and chief executive officer of all primary (urban) co-operative banks.

The Reserve Bank of India released an updated master circular on the board of directors for primary (urban) co-operative banks, consolidating and updating previous instructions and guidelines.
