The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic has approved a regulation setting uniform requirements for banks’ financial recovery plans, standardising what such plans must contain and the process for their development and submission. The Board adopted Resolution No. 2025-P-12/70-5-(RLA) “On Approval of the Regulation On Requirements for the Bank's Financial Recovery Plan” on 26 December 2025. The measure is aimed at strengthening banks’ financial stability and protecting the interests of depositors and creditors, and has been made available via the National Bank’s website.
