The Central Bank of Jordan inaugurated the second edition of its Cyber Security Training Camp 2025 for the financial and banking sector, aimed at strengthening workforce capabilities and cyber readiness across Jordan’s financial system. Opened by Deputy Governor Dr. Khaldoun Al-Washah on behalf of Governor Dr. Adel Al-Sharkas, the programme is positioned as a response to growing digital threats and the need for secure provision of financial services through electronic channels. The 2025 camp follows the 2024 edition, which trained 144 employees and resulted in 816 accredited international certificates. This year’s programme runs for three months under international trainers and includes intermediate and advanced technical training, risk management and compliance, penetration and vulnerability testing, cyber risks linked to emerging technologies, and a specialised course for information security managers focused on strategic cybersecurity leadership. In total, 311 employees are expected to be trained, targeting 1,040 technical and professional certificates.
