The Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) has announced the agenda and opened registration for OSC Dialogue 2026: Competitive edge, its marquee event scheduled for April 21, 2026 at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. The programme features keynote presentations from Rodrigo Buenaventura, Secretary General of the International Organization of Securities Commissions, and Vass Bednar of The Canadian SHIELD Institute for Public Policy, alongside remarks from David Paterson (Ontario’s Representative in Washington, D.C.) and OSC Board Chair Kevan Cowan. Sessions will cover topics including digital assets, international capital formation, investing behaviours and enforcement, with participation from OSC executives and external speakers spanning domestic and international regulators, market infrastructure, media and industry. Early-bird pricing is available until February 27, 2026 at 650 for a single ticket and 4,500 for a table of eight, with regular pricing set at 790 and 6,000 respectively. The OSC stated that OSC Dialogue is delivered on a cost-recovery basis.
