The Albania Financial Services Authority published its end-March 2025 update on Albania’s collective investment undertakings (SIK) market, reporting total net assets of around ALL 67.01 billion (EUR 675 million), up 9.21% from 31 December 2024. The number of investors reached 40,053, representing a 6.00% increase over the same period. Six AMF-licensed management companies were operating in the SIK market (four domestically owned and two foreign-owned), managing 18 investment funds including four alternative investment funds. Net assets in open-ended publicly offered investment funds amounted to ALL 60.96 billion (EUR 614 million), up 10.08% from end-2024. Portfolios were dominated by Albanian government securities (treasury bills and bonds) at 78.75% of investments, while 5.69% was invested in international financial markets.
