The Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe announced the appointment of Mr. Dakshesh Patel as Non-Executive Chairman of its Board of Commissioners, effective 17 November 2025. Patel has more than 25 years of international experience in capital markets and structured finance across the UK, Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa. His previous roles include Chief Financial Officer at NatWest Markets (Global Capital Markets), and he was involved in the restructuring of Lloyds Banking Group during the 2008 global financial crisis. He also serves as a non-executive director at Gerken Capital.
