The Belgium Financial Services and Markets Authority reported that its chairman, Jean-Paul Servais, and the Wikifin team welcomed Rob Beenders, Minister of Consumer Protection, the fight against Social Fraud, Persons with Disabilities and Equal Opportunities, to the Wikifin Lab in Brussels. The visit, conducted alongside pupils from GO! Next Level X in Hasselt, showcased the Lab’s interactive financial education journey and was used to underline financial education as a component of consumer protection. Wikifin Lab is the FSMA’s financial education centre for secondary school pupils, built around practical, everyday financial scenarios. Since opening in 2020, it has received more than 30,000 pupils and is described as consistently fully booked.
