The Egypt Financial Regulatory Authority organised a specialised discussion session on the Future Leadership Programme, part of its training agenda for the non-banking financial sector. The programme was launched earlier through a partnership between the Financial Services Institute, the FRA’s training arm, and London-based Global Growth Institute. Discussions focused on developing leadership capabilities across the sector, including equipping executives and board members with tools for effective strategic decision-making, and highlighting boards’ role in institutional transformation and sound governance. The update also set out a broader training package delivered under cooperation arrangements with Egyptian insurers and memoranda of understanding with universities and international institutes, covering areas such as underwriting, claims, reinsurance, investment, internal audit, finance, risk management, compliance, anti-money laundering and actuarial practice. The FRA also decided to include Egyptian Directors Center programmes within its training ecosystem, enabling access to accredited courses including Certified Board Member and Qualified Chief Executive Officer certificates, governance-risk-compliance programmes, and training for board secretaries, risk managers and internal auditors.
