Ukraine's National Securities and Stock Market Commission and France's Financial Markets Authority agreed to deepen practical cooperation on virtual asset regulation, securitization and individual investment accounts. The three areas form part of Ukraine’s legislative agenda to align its capital markets framework with European Union rules and channel private savings into investment and economic financing. The cooperation will draw on France’s implementation of the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation and its experience using tax incentives to support long-term retail investment. Ukraine is developing its own virtual asset framework, legislation to enable securitization and investment account arrangements for individuals. The regulators also discussed risk-based supervision, regulatory information sharing and French expert support, building on earlier exchanges covering investor protection, market abuse detection, supervisory technology and artificial intelligence.
