The Montenegro Capital Market Authority announced it will take part in IOSCO’s World Investor Week for the first time, running a programme in Montenegro from 6 to 10 October 2025 focused on financial education and investor protection. The activities are planned under the Action Plan for the development of financial education and are aimed primarily at young people as future capital market participants. The programme begins with an educational lecture for secondary school pupils and university students covering core capital market concepts, investors’ rights and obligations, and the regulator’s role, followed by interactive presentations and discussions. It also includes organised visits to financial institutions to give participants first-hand exposure to the processes and practices behind the day-to-day functioning of the capital market.
